It’s been an interesting few weeks folks, the big news is that The Silver Fox and I were delighted to welcome little Felix Jude to the world on Tuesday 20th May. A little cracker of a guy, he’s making his way in the world quite nicely thankyou, and as is apt, really is a bit of a guzzler!
I’ve had a tough few weeks, this having a baby lark really takes it out of you (I needed a blood transfusion after delivery) and four weeks on am starting to get into the groove. Heck, I even lost my legendary appetite for a while there. Whoa there- that’s very unlike me!
I don’t expect to much gourmet action to be coming from the kitchen for a while. Thank the stars for the prep work I did before bubbs came along – there seems to be an endless supply of lamb tagine, chicken curry and pizza sauce. I’m trying to keep up with what’s happening around the town food and drinks wise, and will fit in (mostly daytime) reviews whenever I can, and will post little snippets on the facebook page here.
Thanks to those who’ve passed on their kind wishes for lil’ Felix – he’s such a smasher, we are over the moon!
