Hi everyone! I just wanted to write a quick note of thanks for friends, family an blog-followers who supported our Great Pink Bake Off Pop Up Afternoon Tea, which took place on 20th October. We raised just over £1500 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and neither Lea nor myself could have hoped for a better response to the event. The generosity of the restaurants, bakeries and pattiseries was incredible – we managed to assemble the biggest and best collection of sweet eats I’ve ever seen!

A shout-out too to my colleagues at Innis & Gunn, for our team Bake Off event. We raised a little over £270 from that one, with a mighty fine array of treats making it in to I&G HQ. That I won ‘Star baker’ with my apple and salted caramel cake was all the more sweet!
