Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know about a little fundraiser that Lea Harris (aka Bakers Bunny) and I have set up to coincide with next month’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.<\/p>\n

A couple of weeks ago we both attended a bloggers’ event at the Breakthrough Scotland<\/a>‘s\u00a0office, to let us know about the Great Pink Bake Off campaign for fundraising. Chef Mark Greenaway was on hand to treat us to a nice little cupcake decorating demo (sticky toffee pudding and all sorts of delicious salted caramelness – yum!) and Julia from the charity gave us the skinny on how to get involved and help promote the message. A few days later, Lea came to me with the idea of putting on a charity Afternoon Tea pop up, tying in with the Great Pink Bake Off. As two ladies who are gaga for g\u00e2teaux this seemed like a no-brainer!<\/p>\n

Within less than a fortnight, we’ve managed to get a venue (The Royal Scots Club, my beloved former place of work) and more favours and generous donations of cakes, treats and raffle prizes than you can shake a sieve of flour at!<\/p>\n
