The Silver Fox and I had a deliciously fruity ol&#8217; time of it this past\u00a0Wednesday\u00a0night. The event brought together 10 or so of the city&#8217;s best cocktail bars and their mixologists, showing off their wares and flare, and giving us a chance to put our hand to the ol&#8217; Tom Cruise stuff (is there perhaps a more contemporary frame of reference ?- Ed) to our hearts&#8217; content. \u00a0All in the stunning environment of <strong><a title=\"Mansfield Traquair\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mansfieldtraquair.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mansfield Traquair<\/a><\/strong>. Nice.<\/p>\n<p>The best of the night from Bond No 9, Oloroso, and Harvey Nicks. A slightly odd number from the Bon Vivant with black pepper, and a ridiculously girly affair with sprinkles and squirty cream from Lebowskis fell a tad left of the mark. Otherwise though, it was a rip-roaring three hours of spirited fun.
